Marina Preko/Ugljan

In the heart of the Dalmatian Islands is the small town of Preko, on the Island of Ugljan, which has been famous for its locally grown olives since Roman times.
With a Mediterranean feel to the island and bars and restaurants lining the shore, Preko offers the traditions of Croatia, combined with the simplicity of the local fresh delicacies which are a delight for the visitor to the island.
From the top of St Michael's Mountain above Preko, from the ruins of a 13th Century Venetian fort, is an unforgettable view of the surrounding archipelago, which provides some of the best cruising grounds in the world. The fort itself bears testimony to the history and culture of the area and provides an illustration of the varied sites nearby to explore.
